Terms of Service
Last updated: October 10, 2026
These Terms govern your use of DocScout (getdocscout.com), operated by Tomas Kenny, an individual based in Buenos Aires, Argentina ("we", "us"). By using the site or buying a report you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
DocScout analyzes publicly accessible API documentation and produces automated assessments of how well it can be consumed by large language models and AI agents. We offer a free score and a paid, one-time Fix Report.
2. Acceptable use
- Only submit URLs of public documentation you are allowed to access.
- Don't use DocScout to attack, overload or scrape third-party sites, or to get around our usage limits.
- We may limit, suspend or refuse service to protect the platform.
3. Free audits
Free audits are subject to daily limits and may be cached for up to 24 hours. They are provided "as is" and may be changed or discontinued at any time.
4. Fix Report purchases
- The Fix Report is a one-time digital product. Prices are shown in USD on the pricing page; applicable taxes may be added at checkout.
- Payments are processed by our payment provider, which acts as merchant of record where applicable. We don't store your card details.
- Reports are delivered digitally (email and download) within 48 hours of receiving your order and docs URL. No calls or meetings are required or offered.
- Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
5. Results and liability
Assessments are automated and may contain errors. Every finding includes evidence and a confidence level so you can verify it; findings marked "to verify" should be checked before acting. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
6. Intellectual property
You own your documentation. You may use the reports you buy for any internal or public purpose. DocScout's software, design and brand remain ours.
7. Changes and law
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. These Terms are governed by the laws of Argentina, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country.
